Gifts for Babies!!

Since I've got babies on the brain... Well, just the one, really... this seems to be an aptly timed order.Yes, it's quite unfortunate that I can't just whip up a few softies at my own fancy but I wouldn't trade this motherhood thing for the world!

These guys were ordered to serve as bolsters for newborns. For these, I advised for no beans in the bum & embroidered eyes.

Lil brown doggy for a1 month old baby girl. I later learned that the doggy was fashioned after the family pet, a chocolate labrador.

Handywork whoring. If you cock your head sideways (to the right), you can see a blurred image of WeeOne in the background. :P

Haven't sewn a 'Got More Fish? Gang' for yonks!

Gee I wonder what I'd do if I ran out of flannel. :S

Handywork whoring again

Star Hearts Jac, a Fellow with Much Character

As I type, this fellow is on his way home by bike courier. This is his story:

Star was rescued by a lady called Jac. He was showered with lots of love & a purple security towel. When Casey & Eva came along to provide him a permanent loving home, he was bundled up, plus purple towel to his spanking new home, as they were afraid he might be depressed, away from Jac. True enough, he clung on to the towel for a week. Now he is revelling in a loving environment, but still uses his precious towel. Heh.

Right profile.

Left profile. Most of the pictures of Star were of him with his mouth open & tongue visible, so I added the sticking out tongue for a goofily happy look. Sort of like after running around in the grass field for half an hour kind of look. Note his pinkish nose & slightly clipped ear. Being a fashion conscious pooch, do note his signature bandana too.

Tribute to Jac.

Star - $99 (gave a free name for X'mas, so actually would be $104)

Scruff, the Dog Who Ate Too Much

Hello. Scruff is the name, on account of my scruffy looking fur. I ate too much kibble. As a result, I think I am now considered pleasantly plump. My tummy is nice & huggable & I like to play with kids.

Resting after a full meal.

I have a handsome face.

Scruff - $79 + $5 (embroidered eyes) = $84

Optional:
Embroidered name - $5

How Much Is That Doggy in the Window? (And Friends)

Ok, so he's not in a window of a shop... I super loved making this one though!! I think I especially like Daschunds because while I was growing up, my neighbours had one... a black Daschund called Dinah. She was a yappy little thing though, barking away at any & every passer-by.
