Hugo Hearts William (Really He Does!!)

This doll was ordered as a surprise from Hugo to William. It was posted to William & everything. So nice, right? They've been together for 15 years!!! It just HAS to be love, right? :)

Funnily, I was in 2 minds whether to buy this plain yellow sock or not, as most people prefer stripes or a pattern of some sort, but I'm glad I did. Some people (there is proof here) do like plains too. It was later revealed to me that William's favourite colour is yellow. By chance, as the eye & name colour was decided by me, Hugo's favourite colour is green. ;)

I don't know why my handywork whoring photos recently keep showing up sideways.

 And again...

Gifts for Babies!!

Since I've got babies on the brain... Well, just the one, really... this seems to be an aptly timed order.Yes, it's quite unfortunate that I can't just whip up a few softies at my own fancy but I wouldn't trade this motherhood thing for the world!

These guys were ordered to serve as bolsters for newborns. For these, I advised for no beans in the bum & embroidered eyes.

Lil brown doggy for a1 month old baby girl. I later learned that the doggy was fashioned after the family pet, a chocolate labrador.

'Got a Bone? Gang' doggy

Handywork whoring. If you cock your head sideways (to the right), you can see a blurred image of WeeOne in the background. :P

Haven't sewn a 'Got More Fish? Gang' for yonks!

Gee I wonder what I'd do if I ran out of flannel. :S

Handywork whoring again

'Got More Fish? Gang' + hand embroidered eyes & name - $99
'Got a Bone? Gang' + hand embroidered eyes & name - $109

Mama & Bubs

Good things happen all at once. I had 3 separate people ordering dolls all at once. NORMALLY, I'd LOVE it. Now, I still do. It's just that I get tired easily & would like some time-off work. Work being taking care of my WeeOne. Come to think of it, sewing is kind of like time off. It's where I go 'Pa & Ma, can you help me look after WeeOne for a bit? I need to sew.' Haahaa.

Anyhow, I had this mum ordering a pair of dolls for her & her daughter:

Mama Lindy& Bubs Hayley.

Hayley the Smiley.

 Lindy the Serene

Does anyone recognise this sock? I used this for Vera & Vera II. I bought quite a few of this sock as I think it'd be a popular colour.

Lindy & Hayley costed $69 each.

Pressie for a Newborn

Yes. It HAS been a long time. I have been busy with a baby, hence, have not been sewing randomly new softies. Pity. Well, you win some& you lose some. So I do still accept custom requests & all. Just... don't expect me to rush out the orders like I used to be able to.

Mishel the kitty for a newborn. Well, I guess she's soon to be an infant, rather than newborn now/soon, as this is a part of a pressie for her 1st month celebration.

It's really been awhile since I stitched something! When they say that a baby takes up all if your time, they're really not kidding! Luckily, we stay with my in-laws, so they (happily) share the responsibilities. Well... so far, anyway. We are waiting to see how long (ie. how heavy) more we can last rocking (yes... you read correctly... ROCKING) him to sleep.

Mishel is approximately 30cm & costed $69

Purrzaar!!!!

Our favourite event, the Charity Weekend Purrzaar is on again this weekend!! That's the 11th & 12th of February 2012 from 12pm to 6pm. SmeowlyCats will (OF COURSE) be there!

Now who are these fellows, you ask?

You mean... Godfrey, Mowreen & Fysher of the 'Got More Fish?' Gang? Well, these guys are highlighted, as they will go off as a set for $120 (the normal price of each is $59) SPECIALLY for this Purrzaar & the proceeds will be donated to Blessing Home. It's the least we could do, isn't it?

So stop by to revel, shop & eat! See you there!

Mee-Oww...
