Yes. It HAS been a long time. I have been busy with a baby, hence, have not been sewing randomly new softies. Pity. Well, you win some& you lose some. So I do still accept custom requests & all. Just... don't expect me to rush out the orders like I used to be able to.

Mishel the kitty for a newborn. Well, I guess she's soon to be an infant, rather than newborn now/soon, as this is a part of a pressie for her 1st month celebration.

It's really been awhile since I stitched something! When they say that a baby takes up all if your time, they're really not kidding! Luckily, we stay with my in-laws, so they (happily) share the responsibilities. Well... so far, anyway. We are waiting to see how long (ie. how heavy) more we can last rocking (yes... you read correctly... ROCKING) him to sleep.

My dear, dear friend's kitty is missing. His name (the cat, tht is) is Molko & he will SOMETIMES actually answer to his name! Friends in Tanglin Halt, Singapore, please keep a lookout for this handsome fellow! Friends in Sembawang, do keep a lookout too, as maybe, in a long shot, Molko, might try to make his way back to the old house? Don't give me strange looks. Thanks, y'all! I hope Molko goes home soon. He hates the current rainy, stormy weather....

Lil Jing Han's First SmeowlyCat!

This long-bodied, short-limbed kitty was made specially for a wee one by the name of Jing Han. Mummy loves kitties (they have 2 real ones), so naturally she would like Jing Han to have his very own.

The long body makes for a good bolster! He is 67cm tall.


You will notice the threads inside the fabric. Yes, I could cut them shorter, but leaving the threads long ensures that the knots stay put.

Proof that this is Jing Han's doll, so thieving hands & rude toy-snatchers BEWARE!

The tail has a kink & there are beads in the bum. I have warned mummy to look out for him biting the doll. Don't want him swallowing any beads!

Sammie, the yellow-socked gray kitty, is a custom request by Samantha ask her favourite colours are all rolled into one cute kitty! Gray, yellow & pink.

Stripers, the Extremely Stripey Kitty

Stripers... aptly named for his extremely stripey (in all sorts of combinations) body!! He was lovingly pieced together from remnants of his friends, some homed, some still with us. I made sure that the stripes were not uneven at the seams.
